The Oculus Rift

The Oculus rift is a virtual reality headset that comes with an infrared sensor. The infrared sensor creates the 3D space the user can interact with using the headset.

Setting up the Oculus Rift

  1. First plug the oculus sensor into the USB port on the desk nearest one of the two monitors.
  2. Plug both wires from the Oculus Rift headset into the PC underneath the desk.


Starting the Oculus Rift

  1. Open the Oculus app (located on the desktop) if it doesn't automatically open. Do not open the "Steam" app.
